# muna predict

> Run inference with a compiled model from the command line.

The `predict` command runs a compiled model directly from your terminal. This is useful
for quick testing and scripting.

## Usage

```bash icon="terminal" theme={null}
$ muna predict [OPTIONS] TAG [--PARAM VALUE ...]
```

| Argument | Description |
| :- | :- |
| `TAG` | Compiled model tag (e.g. `@username/greeting`) |

## Options

| Option | Description |
| :- | :- |
| `--quiet` | Suppress verbose logging |

## Running Inference

Pass inputs to your compiled model using `--param value` syntax:

```bash icon="terminal" theme={null}
# 🔥 Run the compiled model
$ muna predict @your-username/greeting --name Lina
```

For models with multiple parameters:

```bash icon="terminal" theme={null}
# 🔥 Run with multiple inputs
$ muna predict @your-username/calculate --a 5 --b 3
```

## Quiet Mode

Use `--quiet` to suppress logging output, which is useful for scripting:

```bash icon="terminal" theme={null}
# 🚀 Clean output for scripts
$ muna predict --quiet @your-username/greeting --name Lina
```

<Tip>
  The `predict` command outputs results to stdout, making it easy to pipe into other commands
  or capture in scripts.
</Tip>

## Exploring Models

Not sure what models are available? Use the `--explore` flag to browse:

```bash icon="terminal" theme={null}
$ muna --explore
```

<Note>
  For production use cases, consider using the Muna SDK in your preferred language for better
  error handling and performance.
